Nicholas DeOrio started out as an avid viewer of 2016 YouTube and was a big fan of Tommy C’s SFTP and would donate to him and sometimes call in. Currently the host of Ultimate Rape Review on his second channel DeOrio.

Origins on Shot from the Point

Nicholas DeOrio auditioned for a role in Tommy C’s news channel called “Get to the Point” but he wasn’t fully prepared for it. However, around a year after this Nicholas DeOrio starts co-hosting live streams with Tommy on the “Get to the point channel” newly renamed to “SFTP NEWS”. From this platform Nicholas DeOrio made his first youtube video on Nerd City, which was then promoted by Tommy when he was on his stream.

Nicholas DeOrio would then collaborate with other streamers most notably including AugieRFC.

He would also release incredibly infrequent highly edited and researched commentary essays that are not his main priority. Still frequently streams and is overweight.

He would also be the victim of sub-botting to his streaming channel @deorio, however, even after alerting YouTube to this behavior, they chose to do nothing and he's been pushed over 100k subscribers.

• Nicholas DeOrio displays a variety of avatars in his videos; most of which are references to YouTubers he had covered in his past videos, all of which are adorned with SFTP apparel.
  • All of these avatars were created by the Twitter artist Optic Decay, who also drew Nick's old profile picture.
  • The YouTubers referenced in these avatars are Nerd City, ImAllexx, Keemstar, and H3H3.
    • This idea can still be seen in Nick's current streams as he uses a Keffals style "wiggler" as his stream avatar.
  • Nick had previously discussed commissioning an avatar from Optic Decay which referenced Def Noodles.
  • The two avatars Nick uses which don't reference other YouTubers are one styled after himself and another styled after the character Homelander from The Boys.
• The profile picture of Nick's second channel is a reference to the cover of the rapper Drake's 2018 album, Scorpion.
