Half Baked Podcast is an ongoing podcast, originally starting off as a StoryFire exclusive podcast, the Half Baked Podcast featured Turkey Tom, Nicholas DeOrio, and Lord Vega.[1] After a hiatus due to Turkey Tom’s involvement with Pyrocynical, the podcast relaunched on YouTube in March of 2021.
Went on a hiatus in mid 2022 but was re-launched in mid 2024.
Allegations of scamming members
[edit | edit source]In late 2022 allegations came out that the podcast hadn't kept its promise with *Half Baked Reviews* which was a series on the channel where the hosts would review whatever a person would send them, only after contributing $40 to the podcast's Patreon. Twitter user Orange Guy would claim that he contributed to the groups patreon and had not receive what he paid. On October 8th, 2022, Nicholas DeOrio would make a thread clearing up any rumor of scamming any party who had not received their request.[2]

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The original run of Half Baked was uploaded to the, at the time, burgeoning website StoryFire
- This run was edited by the YouTuber Bedhead Bernie, which was revealed in a conversation surrounding his poor editing of episode 4
- The lineup for Episode 20 was originally meant to include Xanderhal, however Augie lost his audio and the episode had to be re-recorded without Xanderhal present. This is seen by Xanderhal still being present in the artwork for that episode
- The original idea for the Half Baked Podcast was sparked by an argument that Nicholas DeOrio, Lord Vega, and WillyMacShow had in 2019
- The art for Episode 12 of the podcast erroneously depicted Lord Vega with a camel toe
- AugieRFC is the most featured guest on the podcast, appearing in three different episodes as well as multiple live show appearances
