Colossal's channel was created in May 2014. His first video was uploaded in July 2014. Colossal originally made trolling videos that were satirical in nature under the alias “Reggie Trolls” uploading gameplay videos of himself playing the video game, Call of Duty.

He would continue this momentum within the community although sparsely uploading videos himself and became a revered figure where most youtubers who became successful (Such as [[ImAllexx]] and [[LeonLush]]) originally became known by having a shoutout because they were his friends and moderators on his discord server.
