Zaptie was a 2016/2017 commentator who was in the friend circle of Elvis The Alien, Bionic Pig, and Colossal Is Crazy. He would leave in the internet in early 2017 after allegations that he was a pedophile, he would return in 2021 under the name Bigby, he has been inactive since about 2022.
Pedophile Allegations
[edit]Left the internet in early 2017 after allegations that he was a sociopath pedophile, which were levied at him by ImAllexx on his own podcast “Hot Wet Soup”, an associate of his named Deodaranthony, and a girl named Heather in a twitlonger.
Nicholas DeOrio and Turkey Tom's Video's
[edit]In late 2019, at the time fairly small commentator, Nicholas DeOrio released a video about the allegations against Zaptie trying to clear the air on the situation. Because of Nick’s video, and a similar video made about him by Turkey Tom, Zaptie’s reputation got better for the first time in years. All of this led to him doing an interview with Nick in late 2020.
Rebranding
[edit]Zaptie would relaunch his YouTube presence in 2021 on the channel “Bigby” where he would upload an hour and a half long video about the state of the video gaming landscape.
The Technicals Saga
[edit]In late 2021 in a debate between AugieRFC and Technicals on Keemstar’s livestream, and later in a video by Technicals about Augie, Nick, Tipster, Tommy C, & John Swan, Zaptie was brought up as Tech’s main talking point against Augie & Nick; his rationale being that since they defended Zaptie, he should be allowed to defend ZeRo.
Since this controversy with Technicals, Zaptie has gone mostly inactive with his last video appearance being a guest segment on Doktor Skipper’s channel, and his last livestream appearance being on Episode 5 of MikeTheBike’s Official Tierlist Podcast.
